#WOW2025 W49: Can you create breadcrumbs for filters?

Introduction

I thought about this challenge after I had a question about doing it, usually where these ideas come from. Tableau don’t make this easy and unfortunately you have to hack it a little bit. But today we are going to create breadcrumbs in Tableau especially when using filters

Requirements

  • Size 800×800
  • 2 sheets
  • Create a show / hide filter pane with Region, Ship Mode and Year in
  • Create a breadcrumb style showing whether a filter has:
    • All Options Selected
    • Multiple Options
    • Single option
  • You can style and design how you like

BONUS:

If you can do the above and want to challenge yourself, try and figure out if you can make it list the individual options selected if only 2 are selected.
