#WOW2024 | Week 21 | Can you rebuild this tube map?

Introduction

This week I wanted to do something spatial related, so I challenged Olivier Newman, one of our Data School Consultants, to build me a challenge. I am breaking his challenge into two weeks. The first being this one. Can you rebuild this tube map? 

Ideally you will need 1 parameter and 1 set and a way to combine them to make it only relevant values.

Requirements

  • Dashboard Size 1000 x 800
  • Create a tube map showing all branches and all stations
  • Be able to select a starting station and subsequently select a station your starting station can go to
    • Hint: Parameters & Sets in conjunction!
  • Count the number of stations between the two selected!
  • Design and tooltips how you would like

Dataset

This challenge uses a custom data set taken from the TFL website about Tube Stations, and is available from here (hyper file) or here (csv)
