Introduction
This weeks challenge came to me through a Data School consultant trying to figure something out. We figured for their workbook it would take a full rebuild, but it gave me inspiration to try and do it from scratch. So today I present to you a KPI dashboard, where you can only pick a maximum of 6 KPIs, if you pick more you get an error message, but if you pick less you can still see the empty boxes to show more can be added.
This challenge involves Sets, Table Calcs, LODs and the ATTR function. Feel the power!!
Requirements
- Dashboard Size 1000×800
- Create a drop down list of all SDG goals
- Only ever show a maximum of 6 goals
- if more than 6 selected show an error message
- If less than 6, show the spaces where the others should go
- Create 2 colour legends
- Maximum 3 sheets
HINTS:
- ATTR is your friend
- Index() is also your friend
- Sets & Set Controls work really well here!
